This address will take you to a website created by myself and two peers. It has a unit we have created that is based on Wishtree. Our central theme is empathy and all of the books and resources will lead back to the theme of empathy and Wishtree.
This website is my professional blog. On here you can see what I have learned and reflected on during graduate school and how I plan on using what I learned in my classroom.
This website will also be used to communicate with parents and update them on what is happening in the classroom.

On this website, you will find my work that I did in my Photography and Sight and Sound classes. I include this website because I think that photography and other digital media can be incorporated into the classroom in various ways, and I have familiarity with different pieces of technology.
During student teaching I created and implemented a social studies unit in my fourth grade classroom. The other fourth grade teachers also implemented this unit in their classroom.

This file includes the first five days of the unit and my reflection on how the first five days went.

This second file includes the other three weeks of lessons that I taught to complete the Social Studies unit.
I have linked a five day poetry unit that I taught with a class of third graders. It includes examples of student work as well as my reflection of how the unit went.
